Celebrating Community Recognition and the Growing Impact of Alpine Truffle
We’re proud to share that Aziz Turkoglu, co-founder of Alpine Truffle, was recently featured in ThurstonTalk for his contributions to the mycology community and the growing truffle movement in the Pacific Northwest.
In the article, titled “A Bright Future for Mycology and the World at The Evergreen State College”, Aziz is recognized for his efforts to bridge academic research, community engagement, and sustainable agriculture through truffle cultivation. His work—alongside educators, scientists, and innovators—continues to elevate public understanding of fungi and their role in our ecosystems and food systems.
It’s an honor to see our mission highlighted in local media, and even more exciting to witness how the field of mycology is gaining momentum in Washington and beyond. Thank you to the Evergreen State College for fostering such a vibrant and collaborative environment, and to ThurstonTalk for the thoughtful recognition.
We're thrilled to be part of a growing movement that connects science, community, and the culinary arts—one truffle at a time.
